  Sound Control / Floors

Enkasonic is a 0.4” (10mm) thick composite sound control matting used to create a void in the floor’s construction that breaks sound transmission between the ceiling-floor assembly. It is the original sound control matting, on the market over 25 years, and is the only sound control product tested after 10 years in place.

Backed by the most complete testing and research data of any sound control system, Enkasonic continues to meet or exceed demanding building code requirements.

          • Commercial and residential multi-story buildings
          • Vibrational control in industrial buildings
          • Isolation of heating and air conditioning units
          • All sound-rated floors requiring an IIC rating ≥ 50
          • All sound-rated floors requiring an STC rating ≥ 50

Enkasonic is available exclusively through Maxxon Corporation.
